Remove the front cover. Use a screw driver with a flat blade, ease it between the centre top of the filter and the casing and gently lever the filter out. You may have to do this in 2 or 3 places for really tight filters (yes they do vary). Make sure you refit the new one with the "slot" moulding at the top.
