Instruction manual (Engl Review: ODB2 reader that actually works! - Bought this ODB2 reader to investigate why the yellow engine light (MIL) has come on my Honda after a long journey. Having already tried the cheap ODB2 Bluetooth readers off here (complete waste of time) and given that the local dealer wanted £60.00 just to look at it, I thought for the cost I would try this one. Plugged it into the ODB2 port under the dash and it took about 60 seconds to run through all the protocols until it established a link with the cars ECU. Once connected the menu is easy to navigate and it was very straight forward to find the fault codes stored in the cars ECU. Five more minutes on google and I knew it was a engine sensor fault. (The sensor cost £17.00 and was easy to replace!) - There is also a menu option to 'reset' or clear the fault codes from the car once its repaired. Finally there is another menu that will 'talk' to the ECU in real time while the engine is running giving live data about the engine if required. There is also a CD that ships with the unit to update its firmware online, however I never used this as it worked fine first time.
