WL-Router ASUS TUF-AX3000 V2

I bought this to extend my current router set up using the mesh system for £82, world flawlessly and performs better than my first AX 3000 router, both in range and resources management as the ram on the router doesn't get saturated with the same number of active devices. The only watch out is as this is the European version it comes with an EU charger, so you need a converter to use it.

I'm really impressed with the ASUS TUF Gaming AX3000 V2 Dual Band Router. It’s fast, looks great, and handles heavy traffic like a champ—even with multiple devices connected. The setup was simple, and I love the customisation options in the user interface, which made tweaking settings easy. The option to use 4G and 5G tethering is a great bonus too. Overall, it’s a powerful, reliable router that has everything I need for gaming and streaming without a hitch.

Great but came only with a European plug.

Bought this router to use in a mesh system with my main router. Works amazing and has covered all the dead spots in the house, now I am getting a stable connection above 200mbps in a place where I was struggling to even connect to the Wi-Fi before. Very easy to set up using the Asus up, takes no longer than 5 minutes and has an outstanding amount of features compared to other routers on the market.

Arrived late afternoon, packaged adequately enough. Upon opening the box I am confronted with a TWO PIN power supply. Why are they selling these in the UK? Not even a UK power adapter. Such a waste of my time. Will just have to source this from Currys. Cannot speak about performance, quality build, ease of set up, etc, as it's useless without a UK power supply.

Came with an EU plug not a UK one. I have to use a travel adapter. This isn't in the listing and I didn't read the reviews here before ordering. There is a poorly written license agreement but to use some functions you need to let a third party analyse your traffic. You can use the router fine without this but again this should be in the listing for those with privacy concerns. Otherwise it's been a much more stable than my isp's router. Even without the third party functions it's feature packed. The setup was easy and the app is really good for managing the device. EU plough is outputing 12v 1.5amp so a replacement would be easily sourced if you don't want to run it through a fused travel adapter.

It doesn't come with a UK plug, or a flex plug like the higher models in the same range. The ax4200 comes with both a UK and a Euro plug. This one (the ax3000 V2) only came with a euro power supply, so after waiting a week plus for delivery I've had to return immediately, and it'll be another week until I get a refund.

The router is brilliant. Massive improvement on range and signal stability. Really happy with it. Setup was a complete pig's ear, though, and the app didn't want to work. Took ages and had to call customer support because the QR code didn't work and there was no password provided. Horrid privacy invading terms and conditions in the app, too. Asus- awesome hardware, worrying software.

For this price range this product is quite a solid choice, it is slightly outdated as it behind of the most recent wifi tech but difference is neglegible as recent update on wifi was all about different frequencies that routers can employ, which is generally not useful for many users. Durabiltiy is obviously not in "ironman' level but it would not be a significant problem. Signal strength was slightly less powerful than that I have expected, but will not be noticeble unless one is living under badly obstructed environment. (In this case you will need multiple APs anyway!) Smart Mash is convinient, though it requires product within Asus brand. Automatic setup is sensible and will make valid setting even under confusing home network structure. (Like having multiple rotuers and subnet masks.) Security feature is difficult to speake about, but it appears to be good enough. Peformance of router is very good for product of this price range. Though one should not expect top-notch performance from this price, most of gamers will not find issue with latency etc.

il router è molto interessante. ha parecchie funzionalità (anche troppe per un uso standard) che permettono una configurazione massima del dispositivo stesso. Il design è moderno con linee dritte e molto eleganti. Le antenne sono molto potenti e gestiscono il Wifi6 con possibilità di configurare sia 3 linee guest che il wifi smart: quest'ultimo combina il 2.4Ghz e il 5Ghz così che, senza dover cambiare rete, ogni dispositivo si connette con la frequenza migliore. Il router è motlo potente: posizionato al centro dell'appartamento, vicino alla scala, porta il segnale sino al piano superiore. L'unico posto in cui fatica a prendere bene è un punto al secondo piano nel controsoffitto dello sgabuzzino dove ho un ricevitore, ma direi che ci può stare :) Sul retro ci sono 4 porte ETH 1GB e una porta ETH da 1GB/2.5GB a cui connettere il cavo che esce dall'ONT della Fibra (non vi consiglio di comprare questo router se non avete la fibra). A queste si aggiunge una porta USB da usare per un hard disk o per connettere una chiavetta internet con SIM: è infatti possibile configurare la Double WAN che unisce insieme due fonti internet in una sola (utile in caso sia necessario essere sempre connessi e ci sia un guasto alla rete). Per quanto riguarda la connessione fibra, cercate su internet qualche guida, perchè il campo in cui inserire il codice vlan è un po' arduo all'inizio (si trova sotto LAN > IPTV) Il menù è molto intuitivo e se si desidera il minimo indispensabile, la configurazione rapida è la cosa migliore. Per accedervi è sufficiente seguire le istruzioni sul retro o scansionare il QR Code. Nella pagina principale ci sono diversi tasti rotondi che se vengono cliccati mostrano un menù rapido in cui impostare o controllare lo stato del router: per la maggior parte degli utenti comuni questo è sufficiente. In alto ci sono, invece, degli indicatori di stato e di funzione del router stesso (rete guest, wan, wifi, ecc...). Con questo router, sono disponibili anche tante APP per controllare il device da remoto e poter gestire la famiglia: c'è infatti il parent control che permette di scegliere per ogni dispositivo connesso quanto tempo può usare internet o a che siti può accedere. Il parental control può essere diviso anche per fasce di età. Come tutti i dispositivi recenti, ha una buona gestione del QoS (Quality of Service) che a richiesta permette di prediligere i dispositivi che navigano su internet, o che giocano, o che guardano qualcosa in streaming, ... Se vi interessasse un router alla buona giusto per connettervi ad internet, lasciate perdere: la spesa non vale la pena. Se invece aveste intenzione di smanettare un po' senza però avere tra le mani qualcosa di ingestibile, penso che questo router sia la scelta giusta e il prezzo diventa valido se comparato a tutte le funzionalità che si possono gestire. Dimenticavo, il router è mesh-compatibile: questo significa che acquistando altri prodotti AiMesh (questo il nome della tecnologia tra i modelli Asus) si possono collegare tra loro per estendere il range del wifi. La differenza tra AiMesh e un semplice Extender (anch'esso valido acquisto) è la possibilità di non dover cambiare rete Wifi quando ci si sposta :) con l'AiMesh si è sempre connessi alla stessa rete lan. Comunque se siete ancora indecisi, compratelo, lo provate e al massimo fate il reso (anche se non è molto eco-friendly, ma almeno vi togliete eventuali ulteriori dubbi).

Router niby wypasiony,a potrafi dość często zrywać połączenia.Miałem podłączony przez Wi-Fi zarówno smartfony,jak i laptopa i dość często połączenia były zrywane.Opinie różnych użytkowników o routerach Asusa są coraz mniej przychylne, przy starszym modelu nie było takich problemów,mimo że pracował tylko na paśmie 2,4GHz.Również aktualizacja firmware nie przyniosła zadowalającego skutku.
