Browning

These upland hunting jackets are excellent. They are a little warm in the October early hunts, but with a t shirt underneath, you are fine. In the coldest hunts after New Year's, you are also fine with a t shirt. Plenty of room for ammo, gloves, and game. It is also very durable and able to easily brush aside jagger bushes. A tremendous value!

I really enjoy this coat. Nice deep game bag. I like that the orange fits fed coverage. Nice material. I normally take large but for hunting I got the xlarge and preferred the extra space. My only complaint is that the main pockets secure with Velcro which bothers my hands and I think will wear quicker than snaps. I think the main zipper seems a bit cheap but it works well.

I was looking for a Jacket to wear in South Dakota to pheasant hunt. The coat is well made with great pockets, game bag and zippers. Well worth the $$.

Keeps my arms from being torn up by briars and thorns. Not waterproof, but will keep a light rain off you for a short time. Love the deep front pockets for shells. There are also 2 chest pockets that zip closed and appear to be waterproof. Great place for my license or phone. Deep game pouch that will hold a lot birds. There is enough room to wear a sweatshirt underneath in December. My only regret is that there is no water bottle holder for my dog’s water.

This should have been a great coat ! After all it is a Browning. This is a very well constructed coat . It has plenty of shell storage and room left over for lots of other essentials. The front loading pouch is a huge bonus and it even has rings to clip your remote on in the perfect location. The only problem is when you shoot the sleeves pull up your arm and your lower back gets exposed. They do run small so order 1 size larger! I also added cuffs and a band on the bottom of the coat now it’s perfect!

Runs a little tight. I would recommend going a size larger especially if you want to wear a hoodie underneath. Matches carhartt brown overalls. Nice quality material and stitching. Should last for years.

I wasn't certain about the sizing when I made the purchase but going a size down made sense for mobility and utility. I usually wear XXL but going with XL worked out well. I wear a 48 regular sports coat. I put the jacket through a cool morning in the field on a quail hunt. The game bag on the back easily carried my six birds. The jacket kept me warm and while trekking through briar, I never felt the thorns on my torso. Overall, the jacket performed better than expected. A nice touch is the pouch for a recoil pad on either shoulder but I've yet to use it. Maybe I'll update my review after using a recoil pad on the skeet range.

I liked the front loading game pouch. The medium weight of the jacket was what I wanted as I had a heavier weight for very cold weather. I have a sleeveless vest, this vest, and the heavier one for all weather conditions. Browning makes good gear. I am happy!

Great jacket, well made and good value. Fits slightly snug, so I went up a size.

Great quality but short arms. I’m 6’3” 245# and XL fit well but arms about 1-2” too short.
