A bit awkward but effective
Given that there are so few combination elbow and wrist braces (this is literally the only one I found on amazon), I gave this brace an extra star or two for simply existing. The positives: It does a good job immobilizing both the elbow and the wrist and is more comfortable than the the hard plastic brace supplied by my orthopedic surgeon's office. The negatives: The Velcro straps are confusing and awkward lengths. The splint forearm length needs to be designed an inch or so shorter so more than just the very tips of your fingers poke out. The shoulder strap is kind of a joke. It's a very narrow, uncomfortable nylon strap, is the wrong length, and it is sewn in so you must wear it or let it dangle to your feet. If I keep the brace I will definitely be cutting it off.

Very uncomfortable. Sending back
I bought this to wear as opposed to paying the 400 that my insurance wouldn't cover for a splint after cubital tunnel surgery. Because I needed both elbows fixed, I thought this would be perfect since it's universal. Nope!! 1. It never came with the neck strap. I'm not sure if I would've used this or not, but the fact it should've been there and wasn't, automatically takes off a star. Some reviews say it wasn't padded which means it probably wasn't very comfortable, but I'll never know. 2. The Velcro system is garbage. Who puts super narrow Velcro on a brace designed for someone with arm, hand or elbow problems? I found it nearly impossible to line the Velcro up to perfectly fit in the fasteners and then tighten it on my own. I tried multiple times and had to get help every time. The Velcro should be wider and much more heavy duty and the slots it fits in to for tightening and support need to be in better spots so a person can reach them on their own without needing two people every time. 3. The size! I measured my arms. I had my husband measure my arms a second time just to be safe. This thing is just simply weirdly sized. If I were to have bought the one the didn't go almost too my fingertips, it wouldn't have fit my bicep, but vice versa, since I did buy the one to fit my bicep, this almost covered my fingers completely. I went this route because I knew I'd have swelling in and around my elbow after surgery so I didn't dare go with the smaller size. What a pain this was trying to wear for those couple of days. 4. The pain. Because of surgery swelling this thing was painful to wear. There are 3 metal supports in it. All the are L shaped with 2 running from bicep down your forearm and the other under your elbow and down that way. Any attempt at movement meant these metal rods were rubbing my surgery wounds. 21 stitches for the cubital tunnel surgery and 12 for tennis elbow surgery. It didn't matter how we tried padding or adjusting, this was awful. With all this said, I tried for about a week before sending it back. I couldn't find a comfortable way to wear it and I have yet to do the other elbow so I don't want to wait beyond my return window. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

The best value for its cost
I purchased this item to support my elbow fracture, I did check with chatGPT for advice based off my minimal fracture anyhow I must say the product is sturdy and keeps my arm in place with no issues or pain . Quality of product is great , also it cheaper then an ortho provider provided at a high price that would cost anywhere from $100 and up! I highly recommend! I have big upper arms as a women and a medium fits perfectly!

Great brace wrong size
I realize I wasn't able to use my mouse to the keyboard while wearing this brace and it isn't going to do me no good to keep taking it off to use the mouse. I measured it beforehand but I guess I need one that doesn't cover the hand so that I can still brace my arm while using the computer
