I purchased two of these to use on my Ubuntu 19.04 laptop and Macbook pro.While it added the device to /dev/ttyUSB0 read and write did not work properly and left a blank screen.Tried putting it into a Windows 7 laptop too with putty, drivers installed automatically and a com port was assigned. This too was left blank. Inspecting the pinout it was different to my other console cables so I match the colours and re-crimped. - nothing. Purchased a different brand, boom console first time. Tried pulling down the latest linux drivers from the chip manufacture and compiling them, once compiled you are directed to run a couple of test files to confirm RW is working, these also failed. I am assuming these are FT232RL copy and not genuine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ good quality.
