For long endurance and where the need to hear background sounds ,Sounds are transmitted clearly while at the same time the ear canal is open so you don’t get that shut in feel when dealing with more than one person talking to you 
 
Installation: Insert the acoustic tube elbow into the outside connector hole of the ear mould earpiece. Insert the ear mould earpiece sound stem into the ear canal with the larger "teardrop" end of the earpiece upward. Fit the half-round section of the earpiece into the ear fold (natural grove) surrounding the ear canal.

The large fits snugly in the ear and is very comfortable to ware, and where it actually doesn't block the ear you can still here everything  like wearing an ear bud but also hear your surroundings as well.so pluses it doesn't block the ear so can hear everything around you as well as radio traffic.not dangerous (have had staff wearing ear buds where the bud has got stuck in the ear.your ear doesn't get hot and sweaty.much more comfortable to ware.it easy to fit, just plugs on to a covert tube like an ear bud wouldso all round its excellent
