Does as it should

This is great if you get repetetive strain injury from keyboards. I use a laptop and I solved the problem with this wrist rest, by pushing the computer back away from the desk edge, so the front edge of the first line of keys in the keyboard sat about 35 cm from the desk edge, and raised the laptop on a homemade sloping wooden frame so my palms rest on the front part of the laptop with fingers dangling across the keyboard. Then the wrist rest sits close to the desk edge and the upper part of my forearm rested on the wrist rest, close to the elbow. This arrangement allows my weight to focus on the wrist rest, leaving the hands and fingers more able to move. Just to note that in hot weather the foam of the wrist rest can stick to my forearms and rubs, becoming uncomfortable. I fixed that by wrapping an old tea towel several times around the wrist rest. Overall these arrangements work very well and I have not had any further problems with RSI. By the way, make sure you get the appropriate length wrist rest; too short would not allow you to support your forearm properly, and too long would take up too much space on the desk. I sorted this by making a preliminary wrist rest out of bubble wrap, and got the right length before I bought the real one. Theoretically you could just use bubble wrap, but I found that the wrist support is more stable, so recommend buying one rather than relying on a homemade version for the long term (unless you are super-clever at making things). The cost of the wrist rest is minimal, and so I recommend using your inventive time more wisely, e.g making cups of tea to sip while working.

I bought this wrist rest along with another design at the same time and ended up using the other one for my personal PC setup. That said, this ELZO wrist rest is still an exceptional product, comfortable, supportive, and made with great quality materials. The memory foam feels premium, and for the price, it’s honestly hard to beat. Excellent option for anyone needing ergonomic wrist support at their desk.

Por mi trabajo en despacho dedico muchas horas frente al ordenador haciendo uso del ratón y teclado, con el paso del tiempo el exceso de estos movimientos han acabado siendo un problema para las articulaciones. Tendinitis, extremidades dormidas o incluso con sensación de frialdad son algunas de las sintomatologías sufridas en estos últimos meses. Buscando soluciones para combatir esta situación, no solo con soporte médico, he descubierto que las almohadillas de espuma o gel para reposar la muñeca (en el uso del ordenador) tienen un resultado bastante recomendado. Pues bien, he querido probar este artículo para ver el resultado. CARACTERÍSTICAS Su tamaño es ideal, de 43 x 8 x 2.5cm ya que tiene una adaptación perfecta para la mesa de ordenador, sea para un pc de escritorio o portátil. El material es bueno, de caucho en su totalidad y su base presenta un estriado antideslizante con un agarre fuerte y cómodo en el uso. De forma ergonómica y con una zona más estrecha en su parte derecha para poder reposar con más frecuencia la muñeca y no resulte molesto el ancho del soporte. Su tacto es suave y flexible, su interior es acolchado pero con una firmeza que permite apoyar la muñeca sin que se deforme y sujete con fuerza. Permite el reposo de las dos muñecas en el momento de escribir con el teclado. Los acabados están perfectos para el diseño que presenta este producto. CONCLUSIÓN Artículo con una alta utilidad, pese a no parecerlo inicialmente. Se puede comprobar que en un espacio de tiempo prudencial de uso, las muñecas y los codos se encuentran mucho más relajados que sin el soporte. Una vez se prueba es difícil no volverlo a usar por su comodidad y finalidad No encuentro ningún punto en contra de este producto. La relación calidad y precio es muy interesente, pero valorando que se trata de un resultado con un alto beneficio para la salud, su recomendación desde mi punto de vista es totalmente alta, así que espero poder servir de ayuda a quien pueda leer esta opinión.
