My main reason for purchasing these binoculars was that they are supposed to be waterproof. That may be so but optically they do not bear comparison on a number of counts to my 7x50 Zeiss binoculars that have a brighter, wider field of view. The focusing controls are "stiff" and difficult to manipulate whilst viewing which, of course, is necessary!! Yes, indeed they are heavy and all in all I cannot recommend this product. Incidentally I am by trade an astronomer and so I posses a range of optical equipment that includes binoculars, telescopes and camera equipment (telephoto lenses and so forth).

Nothing to dislike.You put them down and they stay there. They were a gift for new sail boat owners.They couldnt be happier with them! I have had a H20 pair for 30yrs.Never had a problem with them in ,on the Great Lakes and in the Bahamas harsh marine environment. Great product! R K.

Purchased these for star gazing. These binoculars provide amazing details of the moon, and I have followed satellites across the sky. I've had no problems with the lenses fogging up on humid nights, so they truly are fogproof. They are hefty and seem to be constructed solidly. I also purchased a foam neckstrap which has come in handy. Overall, I have no complaints and they are very much worth the money; I highly recommend.
