Thanks.** A: the model number is on the actual snips, not on the handle. **Q: Will these cut 0.020”-0.032” diameter steel safety wire as used in aviation?** A: I'm not sure, I'm an alarm engineer and use them for stripping alarm cable, when I cut 2.5 twin and earth they don't stay sharp for long. **Q: It arrived hanging out of the box with strange scorch marks on the cutting edge. Was it meant to be wrapped in a bag?
