This works well. **Q: What is the actual current rating of this product? oem psu is 27v dc at 1.7 amps.** A: It’s rated as 1.0A. With a 1.7A load it will overheat. **Q: Does this contain the power brick too?** A: It is an Al in one unit, the power "brick" is in the plug part, I got it and it's brilliant although I think the volume is not as loud as before maybe, excellent product tho, my old power brick was buzzing like crazy, this is noiseless ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The charger works so far with my Creative T40 II Series *by P***I on 8 February 2023* I was looking for the replacement charger for my Creative Series II T40 speakers. The charger I got from T-Power works like a charm so far. Don't worry that the charger's output is V24 - it still works with the speakers. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cheaper than the original. It works. Just about... *by N***S on 9 March 2023* Ok, at Β£20, it is about a third cheaper than the original power supply is. It is smaller, lighter, and interestingly the wrong voltage, and probably the incorrect amperage too. However, it does work. So that is a bonus. Where there is an issue, and other people have commented on this too, is the "electrical rustling" that can be heard when you use the volume knob. It is irritating. I tested my T40 speakers with a Creative power supply, and there wasn't any "electrical rustling" to be heard.
