Beware buying this product sent mine back as spinner sheared off during first use. Very poor quality compared to earlier models. **Q: does the Elite include a cover for the hopper** A: No it does not, but it is a good product, been very pleased with it **Q: What is width it will cover/** A: i bought one earlier this year. spread width depends on speed you walk and size of what you are spreading.
