It can go both directions, there’s a light on it so you can see what your doing or what tie your picking, and you can stop it where ever you want it to stop! It holds a lot of ties, and it holds belts. It also fit on the pole in the closet perfectly.We also liked that it only took about a minute to attach it to the pole in the closet. This is a great motorized tie rack, and it’s got a great price so you don’t have to pay an arm and leg for it. Oh and the ties slide on and off the rack very easily.Thank you for this great motorized tie rack! My husband loves it! And it works great!
