Works with both 3.3 and 5 volt supply - the data sheets confirm this. Took me some time fiddling with the potentiometer to get it how I wanted it. And still I couldn't get the digital output to a proper "1" level. So I wired it to the analog input of my ESP8266, and was able to detect current reliably that way.
