I normally purchase the oils that are from Spain, Itally, Morocco and other places known for premium quality EVOO. In particular, I'm always looking for high polyphenol EVOOs. Lately (past 2 yrs) I've been very disappointed. I spend top dollar for quality oils and when I received, they've been bland, no bite at the back of my throat at all. I can only hope that what I received, was actually premium quality. I'm so glad that I took a chance on Fresh Farms. 2 for a very reasonable price, fabulous container (the top for the pour spout actually closes, keeping air out), tastes good, a tingle at the back of my throat and a feeling of well-being. They arrived packaged very well, however, the plastic sleeves were greasy on the inside. The canisters were closed and sealed so no entries about possible contamination or other issue. Tastes fresh, tastes good and I am hoping it's really loaded with a high polyphenol count as advertised. I have read too many stories about foreign olive oil being adulterated. It is excellent quality. I buy the healthy "high polyphenol" variety and it is smooth and flavorful.
