I've been riding for about four years but I've never been comfortable hitting rails. I bought this to get in some practice in the off season, so I can hit the rails this winter. I am using my 10 year old son's board as a practice board but I seen no reason that you couldn't just use my regular boards. Note that your edge will shave some of the plastic away as you hit it. I'm guessing the SA practice board doesn't have a metal edge. But so far that's not a big deal for me. I'll be using it all summer. Its fun and I'm getting comfortable and developing new skills.
