Defo get this
I have hypermobile spectrum disorder and I constantly sprain and fracture my ankles. I’m 22 and have had 9 fractures in the last 7 years. This is the best boot I have had. It’s comfortable, and supportive. It is good on all environments

Great product but watch for leaks, then fix them.
This is a great product. It is really sturdy and it keeps the leg and foot cushioned and stable and for 8 weeks it did a great job. However, about two weeks go it developed a slow leak that mean that the air needed to regularly topped up. One of the features of the boot is that it strips down and you can clearly see the air sacks and can check them for leaks in the usual way. In my case it was leaking at the bottom of the boot where the air sacks were becoming creased by repeated cycles of inflation and deflation. From other reviews it seems clear this is not an unusual issue. In this case, I fixed the leak using standard self-adhesive patches for a bicycle puncture repair kit which were clean and simple to use and are also available from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Park-Tool-Pre-Glued-Puncture-Repair/dp/B00S4PSX02?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 I did this several days ago, the leak has been fixed and the repair has been very solid. Note: I also reinforced some other creases, which although not leaking yet, looked as though they might do that in future.

Game changer for a broken ankle
Cannot recommend this boot enough. I broke my ankle and the hospital gave me a very simple boot which didn’t feel secure at all because it was open at the back and didn’t have airbags to tighten up the fit. This boot was a game changer - my ankle and leg feels really secure and I feel this has aided my recovery hugely. Everyone is different, however the confidence this be gave me to walk on my force with guidance from my doctor was amazing and I would highly recommend it to anybody who has an issue that requires them to wear a boot. The only issue I had was that the foam on the bottom got quite wet and I had to pull it out of the boot along with the padding, but that was because I was at a skiing resort and got snow in the boot so can’t really blame it. All of the pieces can come out and be washed, which is great. It would be ideal if the company sold replacement foam bits to sue avoid having to wash them but overall 10 out of 10.

An air boot that didn’t even last 24 hours
I saw the reviews saying the air bags don’t last in this boot but I still ordered hoping it wouldn’t happen to mine and I’d be lucky. Well it did happen to mine and the air bags only lasted 24 hours which is not good enough for a boot of over sixty pounds. I’m in a wheelchair so haven’t even been standing on it not that it matters as it’s a walker boot but I wanted to point out that it’s not been under any stress at all. The air bags suddenly went down and wouldn’t inflate so it’s going back and now I have to use my nhs boot again until another brand of air boot comes. I won’t be getting another of these as the quality is falling far short of what I’d expect for a boot of this price. You can see from the photos the bags have gone completely flat meaning there’s no support inside whatsoever. The padding is good but that’s not enough as there’s now far too much room in the boot. Also the front part of the boot that fits separately never fitted well to start with. I can’t recommend this boot unless it’s had a redesign and the air bags and inflator have been sorted out. It’s very flimsy for a boot of this price and I’m seriously unimpressed right now. Edit : I’ve now got an air boot that’s supplied to the NHS and it’s far superior to this one. There’s more than one air bag whereas this one has two around the ankle but they’re connected. My whole foot and ankle is supported really well and have now realised that this boot is second rate for the same price. The boot you need has an air pump at the frontal the top not this one with the pump on the side.

Saved my ankle!
Worked really well. A strong and supportive cat that is pretty well adjustable. The air cushion will not inflate fast but if you inflate it with your foot secure in the boot it cushions well as it doesn't need to be fully inflated. Initial angle swelling meant I didn't need the inflation until about a week later but it kept my ankle stable. The hard case makes you feel so much safer walking around with an injury. Good product.

Doesn’t work
Great idea. Stable and shower resistant but the diaphragm on the pump broke on day 3. So I have to detach the tube to blow it up myself ! Poor quality.
