I can't tell you about floors in hallways, kitchens of bathrooms, because I have not used it for such things. I have however used it on model aircraft and I can tell you it gives a lovely gloss finish for laying decals into position. Three or four coats painted on with a wide flat brush dries in around 20 minutes, and then can be recoated in and hour or so, but I tend to leave it a few hours. As for using it on furniture i personally would not recommend that. You need to adhere to the instructions given on the container. **Q: Is Pledge Multi-Surface Wax NON-slippery?** A: It's not slippery when applied to cushion flooring my 87 year old mother uses it for her kitchen floor and swears by it. **Q: is it a clear liquid and how long does it take to dry** A: slightly cloudy liquid, but dries clear with a shine. Drying time according to atmosphere and warmth of surroundings, but say average 1 hour. if you want a second coat,which ;makes it more durable, make sure first one is hard dry. Thank you** A: First of all I think this is rather expensive from here...Local supermarkets are cheaper.........years ago it used to be called Klear. I use this on my Parquet flooring yes and its very good quality .................clean and clear the area, just use an old floor mop or brush with an old towel wrapped round. You can imagine the state my kitchen floor gets into, especially during a wet day. I decided to give this a try and my 5 year old tiled floor, with much heavy duty traffic, even after cleaning, never seemed to shine. I’d read the reviews before purchasing and thought perhaps this was the answer. I wasn’t disappointed. Don’t get me wrong it gave my floor more of a lift from dull to reflectively clean looking rather than a super glossy shine, but that is exactly what I wanted. Do I think it’s worth what I paid? I think the price could come down by a few pounds.
