**Q: Can I use this as an on off switch for 220v hot tub?**
A: no. it is no a simple on/ off switch...it is a reversing switch to make motors spin the opposite direction

**Q: Can this switch be used for a single phase motor?**
A: That is what I use mine for and it works fine

**Q: Can this be used for a trolling motor?**
A: it will work as a 12v on and off switch.. it will also reverse polarity for forward/reverse. no directions so you will have to figure out how to wire it properly.

**Q: Will this work on a grinder motor to make it go forwards or reverse?**
A: On if a DC motor. Not AC.
