✅ SODIUM COCOYL ISETHIONATE (SCI) is a mild and gentle solid surfactant derived from coconut oil, in the form of powder. It is used in combination with Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS) to formulate solid shampoos that are soft and well tolerated by the scalp and hair, while providing a rich and creamy lather. It also makes it possible to prepare shower bars. ✅ It has been in use for a number of years but more recently has become well known due to the increasing popularity of solid shampoo bars also known as Syndet Shampoo Bars. ✅ As SCI Solid Surfactant has limited solubility in water it may recrystallise if used in a liquid shampoo. ✅ SCI Solid Surfactant performs well in hard water areas and is biodegradable. It has a minimum of 82% active ingredient and a pH of 6 so formulae do not usually need pH adjusting. - SCI is gentle and totally Sulfate-free and is biodegradable. - Esterified derivative of coconut oil fatty acids ● SCI not only provides a consumer-perceivable smooth and moisturizing feeling but also is actually one of the mildest surfactants for skin. Numerous studies have shown the high tolerance of skin for SCI ● Allows to formulate shampoos containing butters or oils for a nourishing and conditioning effect, without losing the washing and foaming power and without weighing down the hair.

Es un buen producto. Lo utilicé la primera vez para hacer shampoo sólido/en barra y trabaja muy bien, hace su función de limpiar y hacer espuma. Obviamente el shampoo que elaboré llevaba más ingredientes en polvo pero en lo personal considero que vale la pena el precio!. Si recomiendo usar lentes y tapabocas y guantes cuando se usa el producto por que es muy fino y volátil, y como en la hoja de información lo dice puede causar toz, irritación en la piel, etc. Contenta con mi producto!. Lo he comprado 2 veces y definitivamente lo seguiré comprando!.
