Everbuild Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner, 500 ml

I hate using expanding foam because of the mess,, I cannot rate this high enough, as long as you use it on spills straight away it dissolved the foam to nothing effectively and instantly, screws in and cleans the gun perfectly every time and a spray nozzle for the outside no sticky mess, easy to use and well worth it.

Didn’t know this stuff existed until recently. Great for stopping plastic tubing clogging with expanding foam and one canister lasts for a long time.

perfect for cleaning out foam guns i have used several times and its kept my gun i good working order the fact it comes with a spray cap too is brilliant as i spray a little into the foam canister and it cleans out the nipple for next use.

I'd like to say: This bottle just contains Acetone, Propane and Isobutane. The last two are just propellants, so if you don't need the stuff in a spray can, you might be better off if you just use your wife's (or own) nail polish remover or buy an ordinary bottle of Acetone at a cheaper price and put it in an old glass cleaner bottle (which is more environment friendly too). The description doesn't mention Acetone is just for uncured foam (I needed it for cured foam), so you can't use it if your foam has already completely set (which usually takes a while). It works for uncured foam.

I bloody love expandable foam according to my wife anyway. I've used tons of it whilst rebuilding our house and of course use a foam gun because it saves on waste and makes using the stuff so much easier. But... You need to clean the gun once you've finished the task otherwise all you'll have is a bunged up expensive tool that won't be use for anything. So, I'm here. Cheap cleaner that's exactly the same as every other foam cleaner because it has to be in order to remove foam. Chemicals are chemicals. Decent size and can be used screwed onto the gun to give it a good blow through and used with a spray nozzle for general cleaning. Like all cleaners, once the foam as cure it won't shift it no matter what. For that you need elbow grease and a sharp tool. Overall great value for money.

Used this before to clean foam nozzles and remove excess. Always spot on. Essential to have when using expanding foam. Wear protective gloves due to the sticky nature of foam.
