Thank you.** A: This bokashi bran comes in a paper bag. **Q: Does the bokashi bran come with a scoop and if not, how much do I use?** A: No, it doesn't come with a scoop. I had a scoop that came with my bokashi bin, so I use that. I just use enough to cover the top of the contents of the bin, equivalent to about 2 or 3 handfuls. You could maybe use an old cup or mug as a scoop. **Q: Are any chemicals added and is it better to buy organic bran in order to get organic liquid and compost? Thank you.** A: No, it only contains natural ingredients. I've never considered organic bran myself, but if it's an important factor for you, then go for an organic product. **Q: i decanted some of this into an plastic container, it seems to have gotten a bit moldy, sort of fluffy white. can i still use the bran?** A: It depends what you are using it for. I use mine in my bokashi composting bin.
