Rainbow Loom - The Original Rubber Band Loom

I've had several looms in the past, both with pins and with solid bases. The ones with the pins broke or were unstable and did not stay in place/attached the plastic bases and the solid bases were always very limiting. The Official Loom was always too expensive for me to buy (particularly when you factor in shipping) but I bought this loom when it was £2.99 an item and I have to say I should have bought an official one sooner, as they are more than worth the price I paid and are worth the original price tag. I bought 2 looms (separately, not bundled - and fullfilled by Amazon with Prime) and both are genuine products as verified by the 'secret code' and the Rainbow Loom official website. They include everything the description states and I'm very very impressed with the quality. Even the quality of the paper stock used for the instruction manual is high. I suggest buying from the Amazon fulfilled option, and checking the price a few days in a row to see any changes, as the price seems to fluctuate ( I bought these early on 23/02/15 and I have recieved them on 24/02/15 and the price per loom has changed by £2.)

After buying cheaper versions which broke, I decided to splash out and get the official loom. So glad I did as it's been brilliant and so worth the extra money. It comes with 600 bands which have no seam and do not split and break when stretched. It also comes with a metal hook which is far superior than a plastic one. There are no sharp edges as in the cheaper version and we have avoided cutting ourselves. Ordered another 2 so we can complete bigger projects. The code you get with it allows you to become free members of rainbow loom and there you will find free instruction videos which a 5 year old child upwards will follow easily. They start from beginner to advance and we both worked our way through them with ease. You also get a chance to enter completions and a new bracelet is produced once a month. We have had ours for 2 weeks and it's been used every day and NO TV which has been brilliant for family time, even dad has been involved. I would defiantly recommend this one above all others.

My 5 year old daughter had started making these little bracelets at school using her fingers, so I have decided to buy her this loom and one for her 7 year old brother in case he wanted to try. I must admit I didn’t realise what a success this would be!! A week later both kids are still looming every day. We have only mastered two basic designs, but looks like there is so much more you can do if you rearrange the looms and join them together. I don’t need to worry about it just yet as they don’t seem to get bored of making their little bracelets in various colour patterns. The actual loom is sturdy and well made. Instructions are fairly straight forward. Everything you need to start looming is in the box including a large number of rubber bands. It may not look like much as it’s just a small bag, but there are lots in there and after a week it doesn’t look like we will run out any time soon. I was very happy with the value for money and would recommend this to anyone with kids aged 5 and up. The interesting bit for me is that my 7 year old son seems to be enjoying this more than my daughter!

I brought this for my daughter as she had a few however they broke I never thought of buying the rainbow loom version as I thought it was more money than the other but was going to have no qauality difference I finally agreed to buying this one even though it was quite a bit more than the other brands however I am glad I did as this loom is sturdy and is made of strong plastic therefore the pegs do snap off and break when making charms,bracelets etc, the bands are much stronger than other cheaper brands. The hook is also the best out there rather than the usual plastic flimsy hook you get a strong solid metal hook with a tool at the end to move the peg with ease. Must must buy this and don’t waste time or money on the cheaper brands.

After trying a generic loom from a shop, which broke pretty quickly, I opted for this original loom in the hopes it would be a bit tougher. It has held up very well and feels more substantial. The loom itself is thicker and the plastic doesn't feel flimsy compared to the alternatives that are everywhere. The metal hook is also so much more comfortable to use, and doesn't feel like it will snap under strain of an awkward band. My daughter loves using this and I would definitely recommend for anyone else considering getting one. Even the bands that came with it are better quality! The price has improved a great deal since I purchased this, so even that is a bonus for future buyers!

Well my daughters insist these are so much better than the cheaper imitation ones you see in the local shops. They say the clips are stronger and the bands themselves are more durable and stretchy, which as a mum means less broken loom bands to pick up! :-) The loom itself does look a better quality too, and more versatile than the imitation ones too. And it was good value too.....The price has certainly fallen on these since the loom band craze swept the nation which makes these a good buy I think. Inside the box are looms, clips, Instructions and the loom itself....and it can all be stored back in the box afterwards too, so our little loom enthusiasts have no excuse for not keeping their loom creations tidy!

The item arrived very quickly, and was packaged well. This is the genuine Rainbow Loom, with metal hook and secret code. This was bought for my son, but i have to admit that i had a sneaky go on the loom, and i am now, well and truely addicted! I use the official Rainbow Loom website to obtain loads of new patterns, via video tutorials. The loom itself is very well made, and can be taken apart to make different configurations. The metal hook is strong and sturdy, and has a mini loom attached to it. (The mini loom pulls straight off the hook.) Quite expensive for what it is, but as the saying goes....You get what you pay for! Item was purchased from "Fun Collectables". Totally delighted customer!

It finally arrived but it took an extra 7 days with no communication from him. The Loom Band is really good but I had a few elastic bands snap already.

Bin sehr zufrieden. Wenn ich mich eher entschlossen hätte statt erst mal entschuldigung auf Minderwertige Ware zurückzugreifen,hätte ich viel Geld sparen können. Der Rainbow Loom ist schwerer und sehr stabil. Für Kinder sehr geeignet. Bei den Gummis kann ich auch nur raten die Orginalen zu verwenden. Habe da in kuzer Zeit viel Erfahung gemacht. Habe viel Geld ausgegeben statt auf Qualität zu achten. Und bitte nicht die Nadeln in den Tüten verwenden,mir sind zwei gebrochen und die Spitze flog weg. Das hätte ins Auge gehen können. Da lob ich mir den Huk mit der Metallspitze Daumen hoch Das hätte ins Auge gehen können. Mir hat ein Video auf Youtube geholfen. Dort werden die Unterschiede erklärt. An das Team von Rainbow Loom macht weiter so es macht spaß und lust auf mehr 5 Sterne voll verdient. Das musste ich hier loswerden

I recently have gotten back into looming and have been using a fake Rainbow Loom to loom for a while. It's quite bad in quality, so I decided to hop onto amazon and pick up a real Rainbow Loom! When I received this in the mail today, I was very surprised! I didn't realize how much clearer the real Rainbow Loom was, and how it had a nice weight to it. The bases stay on properly without falling off, and the metal hook is great as I'm no longer nervous about breaking my hook while making a bracelet, however, the mini Rainbow Loom that the hook comes with does not fit on the hook properly. I am not able to properly put the hook into it, so I just placed my hook into my other mini Rainbow Loom from my Monster Tail. Perfect! Problem solved, however, it is still a bit inconvenient. Ignoring that, I absolutely love the kit! It comes with a bag of bands and some c-clips, as well as gift bags! The gift bags are delightful! They feel so professional, and the look of a bracelet inside of one is so satisfying! I may just buy some separate gift bags myself! All in all, this kit was great! No problems occurred, and the package arrived 4 days earlier than expected - no prime! Wow!
