**Q: It says temperature accuracy: ±0.9°ffrom 32 to 212°f.
what is the accuracy from 213°f to 400°f?
for candy and deep frying this is the range needed.**
A: I have used to 250 and has been very accurate.

**Q: Mine wont turn off. i turned the backlight off. i pressed it long pressed it. ive trief multiple times but it stays on. anyone know what going on?**
A: Mine turns off by itself. I put the little rubber cover over the point so not sure if that’s what makes it turn off

**Q: Can the alarm be set to go off when something cools down to a certain temperature?**
A: It will go off for whatever temperature you set it at. In other words, if you set it fir 365, it will go off and reset it for the temp you want after. It doesn't do it automatically.

**Q: does it come already calibrated?**
A: Where I can't guarantee that it is calibrated, I have checked it against two other thermometers I own and it seems to be on point or off a degree or two.
