It was a good bargain for me because I got it from a 3rd party at $25. I'm not sure this and it's siblings are worth $54, though. I usually pay that for high-end musical globes, so that seems high for these.

**Q: Does this play music??**
A: No not musical which is what I wanted/expected.  If you aren't expecting music, these are very nice and I've bought several of these traditionally for my daughter each Christmas!

**Q: Will the water in the snowg lobe eventually turn gray or will it stay crystal clear for the duration of the life of the snow globe?**
A: As the owner of a few of this companies snow globes I’ve never had that problem. It really is a beautiful product.

**Q: How does the Cardinal “sing”? And how is it turned off?**
A: Sorry but the Cardinal does not sing. None of the CoolSnowGlobes styles are musical. If in the future a style features music, it will be noted on the product detail page.

**Q: What is the snowflake made of?**
A: the snowflake is made of clear resin
