Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote Shell Case & Pad fits Chevy Colorado Venture / GMC Canyon / Hummer H3 / Pontiac Montana / Oldsmobile Silhouette / Isuzu

My OEM fob for my 08 GMC Canyon had seen better days. The internal circuit board was still good, I just needed a replacement cover and this cover fit the bill for the best value. The fob cover is completely compatible, with the push buttons aligning on the circuit board flawlessly. There is one tricky fitment to replacing this fob, and that is getting the circuit board to fit inside the rubber frame of the push-buttons. If crafts and intricate detail workings of fitting small parts together is not your strong point, you had better let a professional install it for you. Otherwise, with patience, and small micro-tools, I was able to fit the board into the rubber button frame with ease.(at least, for me). The fob comes with 2 extra battery contact stems, which are another micro-fitment procedure if you have the talent for small crafts. Once assembled, the fob looks good as new! The buttons work flawless and I'm set for more exciting years of driving fun with my new fob case.

Rubber gasket seal won't fit with circuit board, but would fit in old case. Battery contactor not already installed and the plastic inserts are not cut out so contactor won't seat. Had to fabricate and cut out plastic. Spent way more time than the expected plug in play to modify what was supposed to be an OEM replacement.

I got this replacement key fob after both my factory issues brokewhere the snap ring attaches. The chevy dealer quoted me $70 for the fob & $130 to program the new one! I got this in 2 days, swapped all my still working components into it. Perfect fit. The only issue was easy to fix. The battery retainer clip needed a small slot to install properly. I used a very sharp knife to add the 2 slots needed otherwise 5⭐!

I got this case because the ring hole snapped off my old one, so I had to carry it in my pocket and couldn't attach it to my keys. The case worked, looked nice, and had all the necessary parts. But the internal shell was too small, I spent a a few minutes trying to get the old circuit board in by force but was afraid I was going to snap it in half trying. And I tried a few different ways to get it in, from trying it with the rubber button pad inside, then trying to put it in the pad, and then the pad into the case, but it still was just barely too small. I ended up using my knife to shave a bit of the internal plastic off the wall to make it fit; regardless, it was still very tight. The other problem was with the back part, the little metal where the battery touches were not properly attached, and after further inspection, that's because the slits for the arms were not cut out, again, I used my knife to cut them, so it would fit. Unfortunately, the metal piece that came with the fob had the prongs too tight, so I tossed it and used the one from my old case. Overall, it works fine but be prepared to use your old parts, and don't be afraid to use a little force with it.

Almost perfect for my Chevy Colorado 2005 replacement. The metal battery connector was separate and not installed. Tried to install but there was plastic flashing that needed to be removed with a knife. No problem. Then fitting the circuit board was a bit tight but eventually managed to fit. Very happy as now it works good.

Worked great to replace the one for my 2006 Colorado.
