Fantastic, light weight, not sure about the ears but they can easily be cut off, readily accepted by my energetic 10 month old who is busy crawling, cruising round furniture and generally into everything. He doesn't even seem aware its presence on his head while he's exploring. Did have to reduce size of elastic to reduce helmet size as too big for him. I bought it for my baby but unfortunately it didn't last long on his head. He kept yanking it off, even when strapped tightly on his head. I ended up not using it at all.
