## Description

1. First, please put the iron sock into the shoe.2. Then, put the iron on the metal stand and place it on the thermal insulation or poor thermal conductivity surface (ex. flagstone、glasstable、etc.).3. Connect this Digital LCD Sealing Iron to the appropriate AC wall outlet 110V.4. Press the ON/OFF button to begin heating. You may adjust the temperature to which you would like[ range:100°C to 220°C (212°F to 428°F ) ] by pressing the Temp. adjust buttons.5. You may also change °C /°F by holding the (ON ⁄ OFF) & (°C /°F) button for about 3 seconds.6. You can start to use this sealing iron as soon as the temperature up to the setting temperature.7. Please ensure again if the iron sock has been put into the shoe before using. Please adjust the temperature by pressing the Temp.adjust buttons and test till the covering material sticks to the balsa wood smoothly.

Review: Not sure for how many feet of trim the element will last, but hoping for a few hundred at minimum. Everything seems made well, if not robustly. Maybe that’s a good thing as it does save weight. Set it to 200C (max) and tried a sample. Worked fine. The translation of instructions is odd. The instructions say to “store the sock”, but if you go back to the sell images, you see they mean put the sock on the iron before you use it. The sock is cotton, so it’ll reduce the heat transfer. Will see how this works out when I have some experience with the iron.

**Q: This looks identical to a discontinued model I have some questions: 1) Is the shoe steel? (or aluminum..coated with teflon),**
A: the shoe is steel coated with Teflon.

**Q: Has anyone purchased this to adhere covering such as monokite, ultrocote etc., when building or repairing a rc (remote control) airplane?**
A: I've used it to Laminate my Rc Wing builds three times and I'll be using it again on a fourth build soon! Also does a great job at forming vinyl car wrap at lower temps to stretch the film were needed.

**Q: Exactly how wide is the iron's "foot"? I need to apply veneer to the bottom of a relatively narrow channel.**
A: The base is about 4 1/2" long, and 2 3/8" wide at the widest point.

**Q: what is the warranty? i bought this iron a few months ago and it will not heat-up.**
A: I had the same issue with the iron no longer heating up after only a few months of use.
