I recorded my codes 2 years ago on my Windows PC and sine then have been using it on 2 separate media SBCs with the same keyboard translations without having to do anything. In short, once I had recorded which remote button translated to which key, I never had to do it again on any machine! **Q: I have my Amazon Firestick plugged into a monitor, but i can't use the volume or power options as the monitor has no infared. Will this work?** A: Assuming you mean you have USB on your monitor as well, then no, there's no way to do this.
