So I decided this would help them greatly. It has been a great help to them. We took some stuff that would provide friction to put on the handles, because the handles are very slippery. It's the stuff that you can stick on the bottom of your tub. Or we put a strip on each handle so that if they are gripping on it to stand up, it will not be so slippery. But other than that it is pretty good. We got the one that has the booster seat that goes inside the toilet. It makes the toilet quite tall. Now this will kind of change a person from sitting in that squatting position, which actually is the best way to use the bathroom. So it will take some getting used to. Unless you are very tall, it won't feel like you're swatting anymore. A short person may have their feet almost dangling off the ground. And I am sure that will take some time to get used to. But if a person's knees are weak, they might find it a fair trade-off, because they are able to stand up so much easier. They now have something to grip on to also help them push themselves up. So it is a very good and sturdy product.
