Review: Best coffee powder for filter coffee - Usually I go with Cafe Coffee Day powder for filter coffee, as we were out of that coffee powder and no plans to travel to India. I was searching for a good coffee powder after tasting cothas, green label, narasu and many more. Through Google search I found Mysore Concerns and I'm in love with this coffee flavor. Only concern is about the price which I felt pricy as I get other coffee powder of same quantities for Half the price.

- FILTER COFFEE: True to its name, Brindavan Bold is bold without being bitter. Add hot frothy milk to freshly brewed coffee for the most Authentic Filter Coffee experience. Bold in taste, aroma and flavour.
- BLEND: Brindavan Bold has a perfect 80:20 ratio of fresh coffee and chicory. Premium quality of coffee beans and chicory form this blend, which has been perfected over generations.
- PREMIUM CHICORY: A naturally caffeine free root, chicory is a great addition to coffee. Not only does it reduce caffeine intake, it also gives the filter coffee its signature thick decoction and a deep dark colour. We use premium quality chicory, sourced from Gujarat, that is low in acidity. Coffee with chicory is said to be less acidic and thus easier on the stomach.
- BREWING RECOMMENDATIONS: Brindavan Bold is compatible with a traditional Indian Filter, Moka Pot, Vietnamese Phin Filter and Electric Drip Filter. Please note that Brindavan Bold is not instant coffee and it must be brewed before consumption.

A: I do not see different grinds available for this product. The standard grind is good for stovetop espresso makers.

**Q: Do you sell this coffee in granular form for use in French Press?**
A: Hi there! Brindavan Bold is only available in Medium Fine grind compatible with Moka Pot and Indian Filter. You can check out our Legacy Blend 100% coffee offering which can be ground for French Press.

I was so excited to try this coffee after reading that it is supposed to be easier on the stomach. Turns out, I am allergic to chicory root. I had no idea. Made my mouth have sores everywhere and feel like it was stinging and burning al the time. If you are allergic to certain kinds of trees, such as birch trees, it is likely you will have an allergic reaction to chicory root. Had to throw out the whole bag.
