I've lived in rented house for 10 years and never been able to get the oven completely clean. The racks were always coated in old baked on grease and looked black with occasional glimmers of chrome. It was tricky to coat the racks even though the mixture is a good thickness so I think the tray was a great extra purchase. I left it all about 2 hours and came back to see ... it was already working! I rinsed off the racks and gave them a scrub down with the wire wool brush(see picture) then I decided they needed a bit more effort. I put a good amount of the gel over the racks and worked it in with the scrubber, gave then 30 minites to work and then I poured boiling water into the tray to make a hot solution. Worked magic. Left it 45 minutes and came back. Another, lighter, rub down with the scrubber and they were 90% clean. Rinsed and soaked in more boiling water and scrubbed the remaining small areas with the handy little brush in the pack which I coated with cleaner and used like a toothbrush on the tricky corners and joins. By that time I was ready to clean out the oven and was genuinely amazed/disgusted that do much black greasy gunk could come off my oven. It took a whole kitchen roll to clear it and then I washed down with a cloth and hot water. The gloves and sleeves provided were good but I'm glad I had some spare gloves at home so I could dispose of one set after applying and use fresh gloves to do the clean off. This really is so good and if you're oven isn't as bad as mine I've no doubt it would need minimal scrubbing/effort to get great results. I left it on over night by the kitchen sink placing the racks on plastic sheeting. As the gel works the burnt substance seems to turn to sticky brown goo and fall off! The gloves and arm protectors were strong enough to to stand pulling on and off several times and there was no smell. Obviously a highly corrosion be substance which must be handled with care but extremely effective. Recommend highly for ease of use and results. God price cuts snickering I only used half the bottle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good and it's a gel so no mess *by A***R on 12 August 2019* It's a gel so it's really easy to use without splashing it on yourself or the floor - unlike some other oven cleaners. . The kit comes with gloves and arm protectors which is really helpful. it also included a brush to apply the gel so it includes everything you need. It didn't get all the burnt on grime off quite as easily as it says it will but its still works well. I had to leave it on the oven surface overnight and then do another coat after this, but this was to remove a lot of burnt on fat etc. So I'm very pleased with it.
