Can this be used as a fan to cool the room?

i don't think so not strong enough to move air

I have changed the filter but the red light has remained on. I am confident that I have changed the filter correctly. Can anyone help?

You need to press the filter button for two seconds to reset the light. It says this in the manual..

How effective is it? Does this purifier eliminate odours?

Nice, I put it in the bathroom and it feels better than before. It also has an aromatherapy pad and I added some essential oils.
