Review: These timers work great with a water butt - I have now got six of these timers fixed to water butts with irrigation tubing to my plants and they work great. Many similar timers will not work at low pressure but these are fine. UPDATE As others have said, these only last one or two seasons. The ones I have bought have one by one had the same problem, the valves that turn to let the water through start to become displaced over time. The result is that they start to leave a small gap which lets the water through all the time, emptying the water barrel.
