QED Performance J2P (1.5 m) Graphite

It's interesting. I knew analogue cables make a difference after wiring my home cinema system and hearing the totally different characteristics one good cable had over another. It's not about "better" but more about "different" And the cheap OEM stuff really does sound flat and nasty and compressed. So i order the Amazon Basics 3.5mm to RCA cable (for Edifier S1000DB from Creative Z in Stereo Direct 96k mode) as amazon basics are really nice quality cables and my system sounded lovely. But curiosity got the better of me and i went for these QEDs and ran them side by side to test. Early impressions on a well known piece of music is that the QED vs the AB: louder.Beautifully rounded and separated/layered. Less abrasive treble - smooth and not harsh and hissy. I can't tell any difference really in bass. Subtle differences but it's all minutely cleaner and better layered sound and worth £23. If i went from the bog standard skinny cable it would be night and day but the cheap AB cable is very nice quality. I can't compare to any audiophile cables because i don't have any here but the sound of these QEDs is absolutely spot on for my vocal drum and bass, hip hop and other electronic music. These and some proper isolation pads are little spends that do tighten up your sound.

Excellent delivery service, arrived before the estimated date. Product well packed in Amazon box and waterproof pouch. Original box of QED, although without opening the cable made noise when shaking the box a little. It seemed loose. On opening it was confirmed: the cable was rolled up and tied with Velcro that carries the printed QED logo. But it seemed loose inside the box. Also the cable was with some dust. (hence a less star). As for the cable itself; a cable of very good presence, good materials and well finished. Flexible as described. The RCA terminals are heavy, which makes them intuit their quality. Nothing more to connect you can tell the difference with cheap cables. For many years I have used a € 3 cable. The amplifier is a Consonance A-100 and the B & W DM602 S2 speakers. The improvement of the sound quality is in all ranges. For those who say that cables are not important tell them to do the test. If they do not notice the difference is that in their ear is the problem. A sound system will sound as good as the worst of its components. If the signal travels through a shoddy cable, nothing good is used. I recommend these cables without a doubt.

There is a lot of competition at this £22.00 price point. You can buy cheaper (even from QED)but this 'Graphite' is a good upgrade cable. Using as a link from my Arcam A85 amp (2 x RCA phono's) to my phone (mini jack) - to listen to audible downloads via Mission & KEF speakers. I bought these on excellent reviews and QED's outstanding record for quality & value. Unless you have very high end kit I doubt if you will see a lot of difference ...even if you pay ££ more. I can also highly recommend QED RCA Phono leads, as now everyone is going 'digital' or 'streaming' they can be picked up for much less than a few years ago. Read the reviews & don't be afraid of buying good quality USED cable. Good stuff STAYS GOOD!

I bought this to solve the problem of connecting my new Sony tv to my old analogue amplifier.The tv, (like practically all nowadays,) doesn't have a pair of analogue audio out connections to run conventional interconnects between the tv and the amp. I thought I would have to faff about running an optical cable from the tv to an external digital to analogue converter and then a conventional set of RCA interconnects from the DAC to the amp. I then noticed on the specifications that the headphone jack on the Sony tv claimed also to double as a bona fide single analogue out socket, so after a bit of research, I stumbled upon these and thought I'd give them a try. Hey presto - they work really well. QED have a good reputation and these don't disappoint. Listening to music through the tv isn't exactly audiophile quality and is noticeably bass-light, but hey, TV's have never claimed to be a true hi fi source and the quality when watching films etc is really good; a thousand times better than through the TV's own speakers and better, I suspect, than any sound bar. I don't know if other manufacturers other than Sony offer this option with the headphone jack so do your research first, but if it's a goer, I would thoroughly recommend this as an affordable and convenient upgrade for all you old farts out there who, like me, just can't give up on your beloved analogue equipment. And why should we?!

ein wirklich gutes Kabel , top Qualität super Passform. Über die Audio Qualität von Kabeln gibt es ja durchaus verschiedene Ansichten. Hier ist meine . Gegenüber einem Standard Kabel bessere Auflösung mehr Dynamik einfach feinsinniger. Diese Ergebnisse können sich jedoch änder je nachdem was verbunden wird .

Comparé avec son équivalent chez Monster Cable, sur une excellent chaine HiFi. Extraordinairement supérieur dans tous les domaines, y compris le niveau sonore. !Plus défini, aigus, basses, détails, tout est meilleur. Je recommande chaleureusement !

Me encanta su limpieza de sonido. Si los comparas con cualquiera de los muchos que hay de 10 euros, y lo he hecho (Amazon Básic, Kabeldirect, Ugreen) te das cuenta de la cantidad de ruido que meten estos últimos. Merecen mucho la pena
