You’d be surprised how many noises you can get out of this thing! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bigger ones are better, but this is a good compromise. *by D***E on 4 December 2016* I bought this as something to use in class with my year 5 children after seeing one on a science course. I love the sound it makes - effectively it is a drum membrane across a card tube with a spring attached, however, give it a shake and you get a sound which somewhat imitates thunder. It is not as good as the bigger ones out there, but is much more manageable and cheaper so you need to make your own choice. One note - I did buy it with the intention of using it to get my class's attention, but i didn't think it through - the low pitch of this means that it isn't very good at being heard above the normal chatter in the classroom.
