Easily covers a large area and is solid enough for good control. Even for doing a large area at floor level it gives a really quick coverage. Used mine for high point at apex of house outside. It's ok for the price, after reading some of the reviews I had electrical tape ready in case I needed to secure the roller once extended and need it I did. As soon as the roller touched the ceiling, it slid down the pole, but once I'd wrapped it securely with tape it was fine.
