We had a good look round for a first scooter. There are many around and what set this apart for us was that it has 4 wheels but can be adapted and wheels removed to make it into a 2 wheel scooter when your child is older and more used to the scooter Was easy to assemble - all nuts, bolts provided and a bit of elbow grease and it was up and ready to unwrap. It was a huge hit and by far the present she played with most - and still does. She uses it with ease, zipping around the house like an old pro. Even when she's turning corners and I think she might come off it, it holds it's own and stays up. It's not heavy, not light. We've not taken her outside on it, I do think that's inviting trouble but as we have a large house and wooden flooring, she's more than happy to scoot around.
