She wanted to play on my ipad but being an expensive piece of electronics i wasnt to happy about tha possibility of her breaking it and wasnt willing to buy her one of her own at that price. This was a brillaint price and has a wide variety of games offering different areas of learning. Being available in her favourite cartoons she was rwally engaged in playing and learning at the same time. Perfect size for little hands and not to chunky and heavy. Being a clumsy three year old she has dropped ut countless times and its never broken or cracked. It has a 4hour charge time so easy to charge when she has gone to bed. The battery life is fantastic seems to last for ever. The screen is a good size for a child. Its can be slow at times but nothing unbearable. Bought for my 4 year old daughter mainly to watch videos on long journeys etc and to avoid having to give her my Samsung tablet.The item is pretty sturdy and has already taken a few whacks but works well. Slightly better and more responsive than older models (I've had original Innotab and also have a Innotab 3) and this newer version is smoother and quicker to load. Still slow compared to 'adult' tablets but then it costs a fraction of the price and can take a good kicking.
