They are not as soft as the Marco Renoirs, but the pencils do keep a point and can be sharpened really well. I love the white barrell which looks very stylish. The colours of these pencils are amazing and very different to other pencils I have.Unfortunately, there are no numbers or colour names on the pencils, but this isn't the end of the world. The pencils were well packaged, although one of mine was cracked along the barrell. It's still useable, although I don't know how long it will last. They've been sharpened down to nothing as the middles have clearly been shattered. Shame, as the colour selection is nice. The case itself is also a clumsy design, difficult to take out and put away the pencils.
