My son is very keen to do well but really had no idea how to organise himself, plan his time and actually revise effectively. 'I Hate Revision' offers not only top tips on revision strategies, exam technique and revision resources but also provides supporting evidence about why some methods of revision work better than others. It's so easy to think that those that achieve well in exams are naturally gifted and able, but what this book proves is that you can increase your chances of success enormously if you are prepared to put in the effort and revise effectively. Robert’s book shows you how to do just that and I can’t recommend it strongly enough. When they finish their end of term exams I'll get them both to read this - hopefully in prep for next year so they are better prepared.
