Review: Bright - Brilliant and bright
Review: Excellent, very happy - I was looking for plain LED strips which are NOT on wires for undercabinet lighting in my kitchen. Great purchuse, excellent price, highly recommend. They are very bright and sticky, took just a few mins to stick them to the bottom of the cupboards. Wanted a very bright light to see what I am doing while cooking and these are excellent, pure white, not bluish, cool, not warm. Decided to install them in 3 rows, 2 should have been enough to achieve this brightness, now I am not sure if I need a ceiling light lol I have also bought a 12 V transformer driver from desertcart which was connected to the led strip. Electritian put some cables in my walls so I can switch these lights on with a light swich on my wall. I believe if you buy an adaptor it also works that way and you can plug it into your existing sockets, your kitchen doesn't have to be rewired 😊 If you have an open living kitchen, or your kitchen cupboards don't have (high) pelmets, I suggest you to install these on the inner side of your pelmets because these lights can hurt your eyes if you sit down and look at the led lights from down there.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: do i need 2 adapter for 5m? coz i see low light on some parts with 1 adapter**
A: The advert for this 5m strip states "an adapter is required" .... therefore I would doubt if you'd need 2 to run the full length. Although you would certainly need 2 if you cut and split them into two separate illuminating items, unless you subsequently connected them in some fashion.

**Q: Does the colour change or is it just white?**
A: Just white, if u want multicoloured lights , type muti colour led RGB, LED  light strip , normally come with remote control.

**Q: I have 4 rolls of 5 m and i've just bought 1 plug. can i link them all together or do i have to buy another 3 plugs. this is confusing and inaccurate**
A: You can only add them together using a connector you can buy on Amazon - I bought e.g. Mexllex L Shape 4-pin Connectors Angle Adjustable 90-180 Degrees LED Strip Connectors for 10mm Width 5050 RGB LED Strip Lights and you can buy straight connectors but make sure you keep the polarities the same when connecting - and if the driver (make sure you bought a constant voltage one, NOT a constant current driver) you have to work them, is powerful enough. Total the power of the three rolls and make sure the driver can cope with it. Then connect the driver to the mains plug and away you go,

**Q: Redecorating our dining room and considering lightening it up with just LED strips on the ceiling, do you guys think it will provide enough light?**
A: these strips are quite intense. by that they are bright.  i have them under my shelving in my study and find them more than enough.  i think basically they are ment for underneath lighting  eg kitchen cabinets etc.   but you can try them on your ceiling no harm.  you are not exactly going to break the bank for the cost of them.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brightens up my study

My study doesn't get sunlight until the afternoon so can feel cold in the morning, so I wanted something to lift the room. I put a strip of lights around the desk back and sides. I think it does the desired effect without needing too much lighting. I also think it looks pretty cool. I purchased a set of 8mm connectors for these LEDMO Kit 8mm connectors LED strip light for white / warm white LED strip lights type 2835/3528 and made a T shape of lights, a small stubby bit that connected to the transformer near the corner, one length then went down one side and the other longer bit went along the back and other side. Biggest issue was that I stripped the sticky cover off and it kept sticking to everything. I should have had confidence in my measurements, and cut it and peeled as I stuck; worst case I would have had to cut off and throw away a few LEDs! I connected the transformer to an adapter which I can control through my SmartThings hub and Alexa too! ;)
