A: No it doesn't flash just a steady light.

A: To work out a power supply for these lights they usually quote 4w per meter. Hopefully this is helpful

**Q: Hi, can I use this to replace existing strip lights, ie just to swap out without extra parts needed?**
A: Hi, assuming your existing lights are very similar to these AND your old power supply is still OK, probably yes. I say that since these are not the most powerful LEDs. To reiterate, they do not have a power supply in the box, that's why you'll need the old one, if it still works OK. That's a very general answer given that we don't know what you currently have, or what's wrong with it. Hope it helps, Dave

A: You need a power supply that can cope with the 2 strips i bought the 'COOLWEST 60W 12V LED Power Supply Driver Transformer Constant Voltage for LED Flexible Strip Light G4'  and it works fine
