In pristine condition. It comes with volumes 1 through 12 and an additional 13th volume containing the rules of the death note. Plus there is an L face card which could be used as a bookmark. Definitely worth the money !!!

really good! just know that they are read from the other way but its quite easy ti catch up to! comes with a card of L and his full name. also comes with a very mini book with all of the death note rules which i thought was very cool! (photo is the L card)

I can't express how glad I am to have bought this product. I've spent 61 euro on it and it was delivered in 5 working days, in perfect shape. The Box itself has excellent quality and the art work around it is amazing. Each Volume is perfectly published, comfortable to read and, last but not least, extremely enjoyable. I read the whole lot in 5 days. The story has plenty of twists and turns, and always unexpected. Characters like L and Light are so interesting that they bring the story alive. Personally, I liked the ending and the last 4 volumes in overall less, but it's still great when compared to some other manga series. After reading DB/DBZ/Naruto/Bleach/Shaman King, I bought this collection and so far it's the best manga I've ever read. And in an addition to the great box and series, there's also a 13th volume with plot summaries, detailed character charts, interview with the creators and a never before translated piece of comic. It's a great addition to an already great deal. My advise is: if you like manga's, buy it, if you don't like them, just try out this one first.

A brilliant collection, this set includes all twelve volumes of the Death Note Series, as well as Volume 13: How to Read. Slightly larger than the other twelve volumes, How To Read proclaims itself to be "The Ultimate Death Note Encyclopedia", and contains plot summaries and character biographies, among other interesting features. In this respect, How to Read should probably be avoided until after finishing the first twelve books. Alongside the books, this set also provides a thick booklet, a How to Use guide for the Death Note itself comprising all of the How to Use pages from the beginning of each chapter of the books. This is all contained in a sturdy and beautifully illustrated wrap-around cardboard carry-case (pictured); with a plastic handle and Velcro fastenings. Very much the definitive collection of Death Note books, would highly recommend for both the avid collector and the interested passer-by. This set would make a fabulous gift (for others, or just yourself).
