It’s worth it especially if you can’t find pre made carpet treads you like. But it did take me a few days. It also took me a few weeks to het the plan in my head on how I was going to do it and to get up the courage to just do it. I added a pic of the finished project. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased the instabind in March of 21, I am just now using it in March of 22. I came back to see if others were complaining about it not being very sticky and to try to find out if maybe I waited too long to use it. Or maybe in time it’s less sticky. That is my experience this very moment. But I did read that it’s pressure sensitive. So only time will tell. It was very easy to use. For me, the hardest part is cutting the binding off a runner that I want to make stair treads out of. The instabind is very simple to use. One review complained about having to use so much hot glue, but you’re supposed to only use a small glue gun and mini glue sticks. You only need a narrow bead. I think that reviewer may have just been having a rough day. It works exactly like it shows in the you tube video. Ok gotta go… I’ve done 2 treads, have 12 more to go! Review: Cost effective for sure. - Not so great on the sticky tape, but the installation instructions are pretty good and the end result is pretty good considering the cost.
