Well, it certainly has! I only wish I had bought this years ago!!!!! This Orthologics Large Bed Wedge is well made, supportive (I'm a big lass and it takes my weight and chunkiness with ease). It's wide enough for me to 'find my place' on it without feeling like I'm running out of space and long enough to support me right down from my head to my waist (I'm 5'9) which I'm impressed with. I do sleep best in a strange almost on my side position (propped up behind by a big shredded memory foam body pillow) but this bed wedge has been a total game changer. The price point of this bed-wedge is spot on and it doesn't move around (unless you really want it to) once you've got into your comfy position. It stays put if I roll over in the night and doesn't make me feel overly hot (another big consideration for me!) A good product for reflux (which is a risk factor for oesophageal cancer). The pills - PPIs- are not safe to use in the long term. My irritating dry cough has completely resolved using this pillow, combined with eating dinner a bit earlier. I'm pleased I got it and use it every night. Its comfortable although feels slightly odd the first night only. The cover is removable and washable. The product would be great rather than good if it came with a spare pillow case **Q: Are there ant pillow cases or spare zip-on covers for this?** A: I haven't found a pillowcase that fits the wedge. It is nice and long, and soft and comfortable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable without being too intrusive *by V***S on 6 November 2018* Having started to suffer from reflux (LPR in particular) I decided to try out this wedge after we had already raised our bed using wooden blocks. Raising the bed was ok, apart from my wife would often slide down it during the night. I would also find my feet hanging out the other side in the morning, something had to change..! We reduced the amount that we raised the bed and then I bought one of these wedges. I chose this wedge due to its overall size, in particular the length. This length means that the 20cm height at its greatest point is gradually attained whilst inclining you upwards from the waist to the head. For me this has meant that my upper body is not at an acute angle, no stiff neck in the morning, and I am less likely to slide down the bed during the night. It is early days yet to see how effective that this wedge will be to help with reflux and would be only part of the solution - both dietary changes and the use of Peptac, rather than PPI's, being explored. You could not expect this wedge alone to be the all in one solution to your reflux issues. How durable and how well it maintains its shape has yet to be seen. Overall I am impressed as my initial findings of a good night sleep and minimal sliding is pretty positive. In fact I then ordered one for my wife and so they are now placed side by side. It would be useful if the seller also sold replacement covers at a reasonable price, as they will need to be unzipped and washed. When we first received this wedge it came rolled up inside a plastic carrying case. We wondered if it would ever resemble the photos we have sen on the advert. However unwrapping it and then leaving it to adjust itself, without any use, for a full day it was fine to use.
