As a wallet it is nice and roomy, I would be quite disappointed by the size if I wanted a clutch (it would be way too small, I can't even imagine putting a lipstick in there!). The colour is a very nice deep dark red, the leather has a small grain to it and has a bit of a shine to it, Exactly what I wanted. Prior to purchasing this wallet/clutch I had two Fossil Pop Stitch Clutches, and they both lasted a very long time. They are both still going strong but I just felt for something different which is why I made this purchase. Two things this new wallet does not have which the previous ones had and which I miss were a section for my check book and a small "cut out" in the ID window, to make removing the ID easier. The color was just what I had seen online and the leather is really soft.
