Review: Video capture adopter - a good product. only negative point is that they give driver software in mini CD. This technology is outdated. Fortunately I have CD drive in by old desktop so i uploaded it there and then transferred to my laptop using thumb drive. otherwise the product is good. met my expectations.

**Q: looking to convert old vhs as well as 8mm video cassettes. will this work with all other components? (obs, vcr, etc)**
A: I've used this with a VCR and 8mm camcorder.

**Q: Any guarantee it works with windows 11?**
A: Never any guarantee that anything works with Win 11!!

**Q: How to get video playback on software? my laptop is running updated win 10. have connected vhs player and usb. no video. tried in and out. no change.**
A: Don’t use included software. It’s useless. Download QuickTime player for your computer. After QuickTime installed, open it, go to file>new movie recording and it will switch modes to video playback on the screen. Put your vhs tape in the vcr and hit play. Video should start playing on computer via QuickTime window.

**Q: Can it record in MKV format?**
A: whatever software you use to record the video I would suggest a program called "Handbrake" to convert it to most any format you want
