The audio cable I had in the car wouldn't connect through the Spigen Case cut out of my LG G5 phone, so I needed a suitable adapter. I primarily wanted something that would minimise deterioration in the audio quality, and this fits the bill which is why I ordered it. Unfortunately I ended up replacing it with a right angle adapter since the LG G5 headphone socket is on the top of the phone, and using this adapter plus the audio cable looked like some long antenna protruding from the phone!
