The two corner pegs that are connected to the silvery bits are the poles of two separate capacitors, which can be adjusted individually with the screws in the center of those silvery bits. The control on the other side adjusts both simultaneously. The two rectangular tabs are electrically connected to one another, and are a shared pole of both capacitors. The other two corner pegs don't seem to be connected to anything. It's hard to plug this directly into a breadboard, I would recommend connecting it via wires. **Q: How do you connect this to a breadboard via wires? Please Im not looking for explanations of parts, just need to know where to connect what to what.** A: Hello Anh, The uxcell 224 pf trimmer caps weren't ready for use when I received them. 1. I had to adjust the capacitance value until I got the correct amount which took about 20 minutes. 2. to use them on a breadboard, I had to solder a longer wire onto each pin. Good luck.. These are not 224 pf but only about 20 at max!!! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Confusing but cheap and useable - see my observations... *by C***E on 13 August 2024* Without a knob it's hard to turn, but it has a total range of 180 degrees. Fully clockwise is 0, fully ccw is max capacitance (which measures 128-135 pF on the ones I got). Of the six terminals, the two wide ones in the centre of each side are joined to each other, and are one terminal of your capacitor. Of the 4 corner pins, one is the useful one. Turn the knob fully left, and find the pin with a multimeter, but be careful with your fingers because it will read a higher capacitance of your body!
